Anybody using this management system.  If so, what do you think?  Are you having problems?

Do you have Repair center from Mitchell because this is what we are looking into?
I KNOW THIS MAY BE TO LATE BUT IF ANY ONE LOOKING AT A MANAGEMENT SYSTEM I WOULD OOK REAL HARD AT ROME TECH. I HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR 8 YEARS AND T GETS BETTER EACH YEAR
I have been using this system for almost three years now and would not recommend it to my worst enemy. It is glitch filled, clunky and the tech support is horrible. One issue in particular, has to do with the tendency it has to switch part numbers or delete part numbers in supplements imported after the initial RO has been created. I wrote an estimate (which was an inline to an adjuster's sheet), which had been written to replace the frt bumper cover with a remanufactured cover. We created an RO in ABS, then supplemented for a new OEM cover, but on import, the part numper for the new cover was deleted from the corresponding field in the parts order module and I had to manually enter the part number from the estimate. This may seem like a little thing, but totally unnecessary in my opinion. I could go on and on with the myriad issues I have discovered, but have work to do. In summation........in hindsight, I would never subject myself or staff to this MS again.
I am so glad i am not alone in this nightmare. We stopped using it and went back to ABS Classic.....I can't begin to tell you the hours and the money I have lost because of inconsistent reports and numbers.
Hi everyone,
This is Yuan here, and I'm a RepairCenter Product Manager with Mitchell International. I see that the topic of discussion has been ABSe, and some of you have mentioned RepairCenter as well. I’ll throw in my two cents, and hopefully answer any questions you might have.

Mitchell offers three management solutions for shops today - ABSe, ABS Classic, and RepairCenter - but RepairCenter is definitely the direction we’re headed. We’ve dedicated a ton of resources to its continuous improvement, and RepairCenter has all of our latest features. Check it out on our RepairCenter website at http://repaircenter.mitchell.com/.

Also, I’m sorry to hear that some of you are experiencing difficulties with ABSe. At Mitchell, we want every customer to be fully satisfied, and we’re dedicated to helping make your business a success. Please email us directly at CollisionHubFeedback@mitchell.com and if you could provide us with additional details about the problems you’re seeing, we will contact you shortly.

Sincerely, Yuan
Associate Product Manager, Mitchell International
