Good one, sorry I'm responding so late I've just been really tired, working 16 hr days everyday really takes a lot out of you. I talked to my cpa about the profit and loss sheets and just going over the rental car situation, your right it's going to cost me too much for no reason, I could just outsource in the beginning.
Why waste money on that when i could use it for something else. Thanks for the tip. Maybe later in the future as business grows, GOD willing i could offer that.
Great advice on everything in the above text. Thank you so much. i didn't know a lot of that.
If i did offer that one day how would i go about insuring them?
i do understand what you mean when you say you have to play the game on the parts issue, Very clever. i will do that for sure.
Do towing company's always let you create an account?.
Your right, we do need to talk about Total Loss, Capture, Storage, Towing .... not really sure on how those things come into play? I mean other than towing of course but I'm sure i still have a lot to learn on that as well. How would i know if a vehicle is going to be totaled and what to do so the adjuster would let me fix it instead of totaling it? I worked at a shop where the estimator would work something out with the adjuster so the insurance would let them fix it, instead of them totaling it. I'm pretty sure it was at a lower cost but I'm not a 100 percent sure?
What do you do in a situation where no matter what you say or do, the insurance co still decides to total it, how do you get the customer to still go through with repairing it?
Other than word of mouth, fliers, groupon's ... ect What do you think is the best way to bring business into your shop??
I just want to say thanks again for all of your help, i cant thank you enough. You have been a GOD sent to me.
Well, gotta get back to work talk to you soon
Alvin
