I saw your post on the sidebar, and thought I could be of service to you. I'm actually an insurance broker and would love to help you out. It's tough to say what's really the best insurance company, especially since it all depends on the work you do. One company may be competitive when it comes to a shop, but another may be better if there's a shop but does auto sales on the side. If I were shopping around I would look at my current policy and use that as a baseline to figure out exactly what coverages I need. Then I would request quotes from different companies using those parameters.

We use Auto Owners and have been happy with them.

As an association we spent a great deal of time looking for this benefit for our members.
We have found most of the members are over paying for business insurance.

Our rates have stayed very consistant over the last 4-5 years.. infact even inching down a percent or two. We had previously been with Utica insurance and are now with Allied. My insurance agent (in the midwest) has told me rates for business insurance and w/c have remaing about the same for stable companies.

I sure wish I could say the same about our health insurance costs!
