CIECA CSI Committee reaches Milestones

Northbrook, IL – Today CIECA announced that the CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) Committee has reached a major milestone in its Business Plan. A set of standardized questions and standardized answers has been finalized. Work is continuing on the actual message development.

The objective for the development of these standardized CSI questions and answers is to enable CSI survey results to be compared across multiple vendors, and make the industry more efficient.

The questions include general or common CSI questions, as well as CSI questions specific to vehicle repair, glass repair/replacement, and insurance industry segments. These questions were developed from an open survey with 194 responses representing all industry segments and participants.

The industry can immediately begin transitioning to these standard questions and answers. They can be found at www.CIECACSIstandards.info. Download them and implement them today!!!

“We are confident that an improved solution that benefits every industry segment can be attained,” said Fred Iantorno, CIECA Executive Director.  “The marketplace seems ready for this committee at this time, and CIECA is proud to provide the platform and direction for this type of progress,” he added.

“The timing for this committee could not be better,” said Michael Lloyd, CIECA Chairman and Assistant Vice President of Claims at California Casualty Management Company. “These efforts will help streamline the CSI process among multiple users and nicely supplements our current efforts with the Business Message Specification (BMS).”

More information about CIECA and its standards can be viewed on the CIECA web site: www.cieca.com or email Fred Iantorno, Executive Director, at fred@cieca.com.
