$125,000+ in Scholarships and Tool Grants Now Available from the Collision Repair Education Foundation

You can "Fuel the Future" of the industry by encouraging your students to participate in the scholarship/grant opportunities available this spring through the Collision Repair Education Foundation.

In the next few weeks, each collision school will receive a poster listing the scholarship opportunities for collision students. Please display this poster on a bulletin board or in the classroom and remind collision students that winning a monetary scholarship or tool grant is only possible if they take the time to apply.  If you do not receive the poster, or you need additional copies, please send an email to Melissa.Marscin@ed-foundation.org.

There are 10 student scholarship and tool grant categories offered, with 75 potential awards in all the categories. There will be one on-line application for all opportunities, which will be available from our website,  www.CollisionEducationFoundation.org.

The deadline to apply for the scholarship and tool grant opportunities is March 2, 2012.

Online meetings conducted through Microsoft Live will be offered to answer any questions that instructors/students have on the scholarships on the following dates:

Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 1pm central time

Friday, January 20, 2012 at 8am central time

Wednesday, January 24, 2012 at 10am central time

If you are interested in attending one of these online meetings, please contact Melissa at  Melissa.Marscin@ed-foundation.org.

INSTRUCTOR NOTE: **NEW** In order to be eligible, the applicant's school must have completed the Education Foundation's 2011-2012 Collision Repair School Solutions Survey on-line. The information for the survey can be found at:  http://collisioneducationfoundation.org/solutions-survey/ and the survey deadline is March 2, 2012.

Schools can contact Melissa at Melissa.Marscin@ed-foundation.org to see whether or not their school has completed the survey, or to receive a PDF copy of the survey to review the questions prior to taking the survey on-line.

The Collision Repair Education Foundation would like to thank and recognize Bar's Products / Rislone and  Chicago Pneumatic for their sponsorship of the spring 2012 scholarship mailing. Collision instructors and students are encouraged to scan the Chicago Pneumatic Quick Response (QR) code located on the scholarship poster with their mobile device for the opportunity to win a RCP226VP, 26 gallon, vertical, 110v compressor. You can also register for the compressor online.
