IE8 can be troublesome but lets try an easy fix first. Go to the Internet Options under the Tools menu and set the Internet security to medium. That should let you download the RRW add-in for the browser. Once the add-in is installed it may need to be enabled. You will know this if the browser report "Server Not Found" or Add-in not enabled." You can also try the compatibility button which runs the browser as if it was an older version.
BTW, you might consider posting your question in the Computers in Collision Group so others can participate.

OK I reduced the security level to medium, but I don't know what RRW is so couldn't find it. With the security reduced I was able to sign onto the network, but when I went to log onto a workstation it said I needed to change Active-X controls. I changed a bunch of stuff and was able to log onto a workstation, so that part of the problem is solved. Now I'm getting warnings that my computer is not secure, so I guess I need a script of what to set where in Active-X.

It really is neat to be able to actually work on the shop network and software remotely, but what is the difference between doing it the way we have it set up and using something like GoToMyPC?
