The worst thing a graphic designer can do is fall in love with something they've created. 

 

I see this all the time, when a designer makes an ad for one company then tries to tweek the same theme for every client that crosses their door. The fact is that design is more science then it is artistic creativity. How the brain looks at an image and digest the information or moves past it is a formula you can recreate in every advertisement your produce.
