Blowtherm's Air Speed waterborn flash off system is working great with PPG products, fast flash off without throwing trash into the finish like blowers and ceiling fans.

See the forums. Also, a question,What size compressor do use use for your spraybooth?

We are looking at a new compressor for our paint booth as the old one is no longer functioning. I am thinking about going 7.5hp single phase 80gal. Problem is I am not sure of the numbers and nee to do the research yet, but if we went to water borne that wouldn't be enough. But we don't want to do WB anyway, at least not until forced to. In the meantime if our booth outgrows that comp. we can alwasy use it for the shop air or as a spare in the shop

We have a new website called www.Paint-Booths.com. Our customers love the new redesign of the site since it is very easy to use. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Hello!... My name is Rick...and I'm a Paintoholic....I have been a paintoholic for over 30 years...I just can't seem to put the spraygun down.
I work as a multi-line jobber in Michigan area, specializing in waterborne applications, also teach Intro to Refinishing part-time at Washtenaw Community College, so I get a lot of time in and around paint booths. As a former painter, and with the introduction of waterborne basecoats, I am still as excited about this industry as ever.
I will try to help out with answers or throw my "2 cents" in whenever possible!
If I don't answer right away, don't take it personally...I just don't get a lot of time to sit at my computer!!

Just wanted to say hi to everyone. You might wonder why AutoBody Allaince joined the paint group. I actually used to be a painter followed by manager at a shop in Sioux Falls SD. I really enjoyed painting and miss doing it everyday. I am still able to work at the shop here and there during the busy times and also do a little custom bike painting on the side.
