Just had a large storm hit Little Rock in hush hour.

Golf ball and smaller, hailed for about 5 min and piled up deep.

If anyone makes it to town, drop a line you'll be in the hometown of Collision Hub.

Trudat! Send 'em all West and South (wayyy South to Australia)!
You Hail people need to shoot for some kind of licencing now or you will eventually get destroyed from the inside by all of the deductible saving hacks in this industry. This is sad because there are good people in this industry that do good work and should be paid properly for what they do. However if they keep waiving deductibles and doing car lot style work, the insurance companies will eventually catch-on and lower pricing or ask for half of it themselves look what happened to the glass industry, it is all but destroyed. We dont do glass as a glass only claim because there is no money to be made, really whats the point. If the Hail Industry does not hang together on this they will all hang themselves in the end. Your statement is 100% true with a tent on every corner even at car washes How demeaning and embarassing for the good ones. not to mention of the work Taken from the body shops in these town that these clowns set-up. The work should be done by a licensed shop or thru a licensed shop so there can be a warranty given. Body shops have a stake in the town or city they live in, with this in mind if the guy doing PDR does shotty work he will be fired and eventually will have nowhere to work. just some food for thought Please as a industry Help yourselves. Before it is too late
A total of 90 hail reports over 1 inch yesterday. From Texas to Alabama and up to Missouri. Louisiana seemed to receive the largest at 2.75.
UPDATE for Little Rock >>

One of the local PDR companies asked me to run the ground this AM, but I wanted to share. I've got two insurance companies with me :-) killing 3 consulting birds with one tank of gas...

Worked Saline County (Benton, Bryant) hail reports are a slow go this AM. Went to three subdivisions and looked at a total of 6 cars. Damage is 100% PDR repairable. Largest dents are dime size and very shallow. Panel volume of dents would be the only concern. Most of the people I talked to did not think they had damage so this may be one of those Sunday morning conversations that becomes a Monday morning CAT.
