This episode of Collision Hub’s live educational video series, Repair University, covers the basics of design based repair. The episode features Richard Perry, manager of training and insurance relations for Chief® Automotive Technologies.

Perry was the lead developer of Chief University’s new two-day “Design Based Repair” course. He draws on this knowledge and his more than 30 years of industry experience to provide Repair University participants with an overview of design based repair. He covers why shops can no longer rely on visual inspection, why it’s important to measure a collision-damaged vehicle and the value of multipoint measuring during repairs.
