BTW, you might consider posting your question in the Computers in Collision Group so others can participate.

Jeff,
The backup Mitchell is referring to is the backup that was made during the last ABS version upgrade. It is typically in the same directory that contains ABS in a folder called Backup.

PS I'm glad you joined the Computers in Collision group. Welcome.

I have thought about the disasterous marketing strategy observation I made about the bench system and really don't think it was fair. The only thing that was disasterous about it was the decision to send all the old jobbers from letters advising them that they would be limited in what Blackhawk products they could sell with no apparent explanation as to why. I did agree that the Korek and Bench combination was far too sophisticated and expensive for someone not completely knowledgeable in its use to be presenting. The fallout from that decision was for angry jobbers who saw the customers regularly to criticize the product and the company. That negativity from jobbers was very difficult to overcome.

I'm doing very well, thank you. I was with Blackhawk when they decided to market the bench system direct and was the first direct salesman they hired. Great concept, disasterous marketing strategy.
After I left AP, I went back to building streetrods and race cars for a while, then started running shops for other folks. 12 years ago, I took the plunge and went into business for myself. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do when I grow up.

There was a gentelman named Jeff Silver that worked at Applied Power/ Blackhawk in New Berlin, Wisconsin many years ago when I worked there. I am curious to know if you are that Jeff Silver.

I agree Jeff! You would need to do that as Corp is there to listen, not to speak.
