Bio and Information

I was the youngest child of a independent collision repair shop owner and loved being with the cars.

After college I made the jump to the insurance industry. My career has taken me through many positions with different insurance companies. At the heart of my family, was the growing gap between the repairer and the surrounding industries.

Collision Hub was developed to provide a positive networking experience for the collision repair industry. A place were we can share ideas, offer support and encourage students as they begin their careers.

Currently I am a Women's Industry Network (WIN) board member, gold pin CIC member and the Advisory board to Pulaski Technical College.
In 2007, I was honored as one of the Most Influential Women of the Collision Repair Industry by AkzoNoble.

Collision Hub is my vision for a unified and supportive Collision Repair Industry. As we network and connect with each other we can begin to work together to ensure bright careers for those new to our industry.

Thank you for joining Collision Hub. Each voice in this industry is critical to our success, you make the difference!

Academy Award-winning actor Geena Davis and Collision Hub TV

Thumbnail
I can't even breath..... I'm so excited about tonight. Academy Award-winning actor Geena Davis, founder of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media is in Little Rock today to discuss the role of media in gender portrayal. Collision Hub TV will be there. While the statistics are bad across the board, we still struggle in the automotive industry. Every time I turn on Speed or Spike TV's Powerblock, I'm forced to see images of women with no knowledge of anything automotive hosting car shows. I…See More

A Cardboard Social

It's the day after Christmas and house after house has stacks of cardboard boxes out by the curb. Collision Repairers are typically the best stewards of the enviroment in their communities and a great example is our cardboard recycling.

Take a moment to encourage your fans and community members to recycle their cardboard by bringing it to your shop. It's a chance for them to visit your location and remind them of your service to the…

Is Your Advertisement Hot?

The worst thing a graphic designer or a shop can do is fall in love with something they've created.

I see this all the time, when a designer makes an ad for one company then tries to tweek the same theme for every client that crosses their door. The fact is that design is more science then it is artistic creativity. How the brain looks at an image and digest the information or flips past it is a formula you can recreate in every advertisement your…

8 Track Business In A iPod World?

It's become a monthly ritual at my office. The phone rings and the caller introduces themselves and ask for consulting help with Sales and Marketing. I then follow it with; "Which One?", this confuses them for a short time then the response is always, "Well Both".

Here is where I launch into my speech about how an 8 Track will not fit into a DVD player! I've tried and tried, but I can't make it work! I've got some really great Carpenters albums I need to hear!  By now they think I'm… Continue

Why Have Girl Scouts At NACE?

It's good question and we get it all the time...........

I saw this quote today and it summs up why the Girl Scouts are invited to attend NACE as the guest of Enterprise Rent-A-CAR, Collision Hub and ASA.

"We are far more than cookies, camping and crafts....We are the largest female leadership pipeline in the country. Approximately 10% of girls and young women are Girl Scouts at any…
