I was talking to a shop owner the other day and while I was talking to him I saw an insurance company inspector reviewing an estimate one of the insurance company's estimators wrote. I asked the shop owner if he ever reviewed his people's estimates. He said, "No, my people know exactly what I expect." The he asked me why he should review them. Reducing time on the phone can increase your available time to work on growing your business and increasing profits. This might sound odd, telling you to reduce your time on the phone to increase your business. You will still need to use your phone because it's a necessary tool, but only when you need to use it and not when beckoned by others.
