The I-CAR Education Foundation, a 501(C3) not-for-profit automotive organization, would like to thank the inter-industry in providing $1.7 million in support to collision schools, instructors, and students in 2009. Through monetary and in-kind product donations, the 2009 I-CAR Education Foundation donors helped to meet and exceeded expectations of the newly focused organization by providing student scholarships, instructor grants, tool/equipment grants, and other forms of assistance. When many national organizations and foundations outside the industry have had to lower or stop assistance due to economic times in 2009, the collision inter-industry truly showed its commitment to its future by supporting the I-CAR Education Foundation. As the I-CAR Education Foundation works towards supporting a network of 1,300 schools across the country, there are still many deserving schools and students that can use the industry's help.
I would like to invite CollisionHub members to make a $50 (tax deductible) donation to the I-CAR Education Foundation and assist us in being able to provide additional support to collision school programs and students in 2010.
Donations can be made out to the “I-CAR Education Foundation” and please place “CollisionHub” in the memo line so that we can track the number of donations received from CollisionHub members and report back on this blog’s success. Also, please feel free to respond to this Blog and state that you are supporting the industry's future through the I-CAR Education Foundation in 2010.
Checks can be sent to:
