Oldsmar, Florida -- Web-Est, LLC released Auto Parts Connect, a new program designed to aggressively expand data feeds from auto collision parts providers, making access for auto body shops much easier. The data will be integrated into Web-Est's online estimating platform used by over 1,200 small to mid size body shops nation-wide. Part providers can participate in Auto Parts Connect free of charge, but must provide data in an industry format and are responsible for submitting monthly updates or can provide real-time updates depending on their IT capabilities.
An expanded version of the program, Auto Parts Connect Plus is expected at the end of the year, which will enable Web-Est users to programmatically place a parts order with qualified vendors. Qualifying vendors are required to provide discounts to Web-Est users and will pay an administrative transaction fee.
"Auto Parts Connect and Auto Parts Connect Plus are expected to create savings for parts vendors and Web-Est collision estimating software users alike" said CEO/President, Eric Seidel. "Taking advantage of real-time ordering of parts eliminates manual steps, we expect to pass these savings on to our Web-Est customer base."
Vendors that are interested can contact Becky Nabors at (888) 932-3780, extension 112.
