Thanks! This networking is all new to me, so I am trying to figure it out and how to use it. How do I join the educators section or did I already?

Donnie,
I think you have some good things on your page. I recommend taking an I-CAR class REF07 which is our waterborne class. Lots of very informative information if you plan to do a presentation.
Donnie, thats too bad, I would have liked to meet you guys. I taught 3 classes there and worked in the ALLDATA booth so its funny we didn't bump into each other somewhere. Did you see anything there that you thought was interesting? I thought that virtual painting system was pretty cool. That would be a sweet training tool for tech schools. What did you think? I'm curious to see what people thought was new or interesting there, comments?

Hey Donnie, was great to meet you too! We totally ROCKED at NACE! Please keep in touch. Hope to see ya soon bud.
Yo. Donnie I am no way knocking Instructors and teachers. I'm not pleased with how some buisnesses are being run by just looking at number's and quality work and people have to take the back seat. it's disturbing to see a kid fresh out of tech school with all the potential to be an outstanding tecnician get his hopes crushed because the fools running the shop are trying to prove they know more than some kid when its the kid who through his ability to be able to learn new things is the future of this industry. All the rest is history.
Although I am a student, I am beyond seeking a new career. The real point in my taking this course is to develop more expertise in auto body repair and painting so I can complete the many projects I had put aside while I was earning a living. Now that I am retired, I hope to spend more time turning my "pumpkins" into nice rides.
Mike
